As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, she combines academic research with clinical excellence.
Her clinical interests include endometriosis, infertility, abnormal bleeding, menopause, pelvic pain, and uterine fibroids.
Dr. Abdelazim specializes in minimally invasive surgery including robotic surgery and laparoscopy, allowing patients to benefit from faster recovery times and improved outcomes.
She also finds immense joy in delivering babies and developing lifelong relationships with her patients.
